Want to experience what it's like to run open-source LLMs (like Qwen3.6 or Mistral) on your own infrastructure without handing your data over to a third-party cloud black box? Join Ankra and UpCloud for an evening of technical talks, hands-on hacking, food, and drinks. We’re walking through how to build, deploy, and manage a sovereign AI stack end-to-end using UpCloud's GPU infrastructure and Ankra's Kubernetes orchestration. What We’re Covering 1. Sovereignty, RAG, and Cloud Infrastructure (UpCloud) Pawel Piwosz from UpCloud will break down their Sovereignty Assessment Tool—how it’s architected, how it works, and why data sovereignty matters for modern stacks. He’ll also dive into how AI is wired under the hood on UpCloud, specifically covering RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures. 2. Live Demo: Orchestrating the Stack (Ankra) Mark Shine (CTO @ Ankra) will take over to show how to build on top of that infrastructure. He’ll demo how to deploy a full AI stack in Kubernetes using the Ankra AI agent to automate the setup live. 3. Hands-On Hacking & Mingle Pop open your laptop, team up in groups of 2–3, and test out the reference architecture yourself. We’ll provide the credits and access so you can spin up your own self-hosted AI stack on the spot.
