Scenic Walk, Talk, Swim - Founders, Investors, Builders.

Bring one question you're stuck on. By sunset, (and maybe a swim) you'll have walked it past nine different people. We walk from Mariatorget, up onto the cliff path at Monteliusvägen, down to Långholmen for a dip, then back up to Skinnarviksberget for the sunset. It's around 15 degrees in September, which is brisk rather than brutal for a swim. The swim is optional, plenty of people will watch from the rocks and that's a perfectly good way to spend it. How it works You walk in groups, and every eight minutes we swap. You'll leave having properly talked to eight or nine people instead of standing in a semicircle holding a drink. Bring one question you're stuck on. About your company, your work, anything. That's what you talk about while we walk, among many other things! Before the light goes, everyone says one ask out loud: the single specific thing you need that someone here might be able to give you. An intro, a hire, a first customer, a straight answer about a problem you're circling. One sentence each. It takes five minutes and it's the most useful part of the evening. If you're in: bring swimwear and a towel if you're going to swim, proper shoes, something to drink and a warm layer of clothing. There are cold showers at the bathing spot. We go in while it's still light, about a minute, standing depth, nobody swims out.
